As Feathers Fall

birdbird

Feathers in unison, soon to come falling down.

Forever immune to sun, new to them is the warmth of the rays of the days when the sun burns a hole to your cold heart to melt, a crack has begun.

Break a heart to build one.

Vacant art which spilled from,

A canvas high may shine so bright, that the cold hard shell from lonely nights may replicate that of apricious beauty rooted in love is warmth and light.

So despite the spite so starved of pulse,

In cells we sell our freedom false,

We wait our turn to turn our weight.

And off you're free, don't flee your fate.

As feathers fall upon the floor.

As feathers fall upon the leaves.

As feathers fall upon your windowsill so slight yet still you see.

As feathers fall upon your face.

As feathers fall upon your hand out placed.

You learn to leave your life to feathers grace.

And off you fly in sky's embraced.

To fly so high so light that honestly you be your dreams and close your eyes yet see despite your body dozed yet free, dose of glee and smile eradicates parts of me that tear at me, I fall to knees, and here before my teary full eyes, is a feather...

And a flame of endless life for me.
