The sea remembers every name
that love has whispered into flame.
It keeps our sins beneath the tide,
where blood and sorrow learn to hide.
We lived where moonlight dared not shine,
half your heartbeat, half of mine.
And when the world forgot our cries,
we bloomed again where darkness dies.
So let the waves erase the pain
our ghosts still dance within the rain.
For love was never meant to keep;
it lives in tides that never sleep.

Thank you so much for reading my poem!! The evaluation is well appreciated.
You are most welcome
Well done on your first poem, never stop. Your revolves around love, loss, memory, and the cyclical nature of emotions. It delves into themes of how love is remembered, the pain it can cause, and the idea that love transcends physical presence, existing in the natural rhythm of life.
