I am not alone

Scarlette Howard

I am not alone, I have a place and a home

I have a friend, I have a hand that directs my path and steers the way

I have an author who writes and plans my destiny

He creates every page and story

Every script of my life is inscribed by his magical hand

He's aware of my ins and outs, though I struggle and sometimes fail

He is never in doubt

I am not alone when I am overwhelmed by fear

Or when silence creeps in, changing my mood and atmosphere

When trials sweep in to destroy me and empower my soul

Whispering, you are losing control

I am not alone, but cast into thinking mode

While behind the scenes, the real magic is taking place

Yahusha is erasing and replacing every mistake

Building and restoring every crack, scar and bad memory

That drove me to this state, all I have to do is trust Yah and wait

Be still, willing and ready to be changed, transformed and rejuvenated.

  • Comment from author about the poem: Every season in our lives is subject to change; there has been no season that lasts forever. However, only we can change the cycles we create in our own lives; therefore, make the right choice and avoid torturing ourselves. Cast aside negative people and thoughts, and open the door of hope and positivity.

        You are most welcome

Your poem revolves around the theme of divine companionship and support. It emphasizes that even in times of struggle, fear, or loneliness, one is never truly alone because of the presence and guidance of a higher power (referred to as Yahusha).

Where is Yahusha when you need him.
I like the idea of sitting on my seat waiting for divine providence to hit me between the eyes.
If Yahusha won't come to me, I suppose I'll have to go to him.

Yah is everywhere, even as we speak, he is just waiting for us to let him in.
A lot of people who read my work are not aware
That all my poems are inspired by him, they are not my pieces but his, I am but the pen.
