Sifting Universe

RSM0812

I idle with the fall time leaf, falling from a heavens sky,

Waiting on the grief, that strong winds provide.

Lost in a room, dying soon, restless as I weep and loom.

My eternal, my wild, my eyes to close now soon

Bring me into the stars up high,

For the universe will never die.

And reach across the silvered stream,

As I dream, awake it seems.

Forever in felicity, my bondage I shall reap,

The hearth will slowly open, to feel the fiery heat.

Stars may come, stars may go,

Like a misty broken lurking shadow.

Bring to me emeralds of every color,

Red and green for me to plunder,

And wear it upon your Adams breast,

Its shine not the only test.

Darker shadows lurk at night, I sigh for the virtuous fight,

To seldom see the wrath of God, and the angelic light.
