Alone with God

GenXer Sharon πŸ™πŸ€

In my time alone with Our Heavenly Father above; I’m reminded to draw nearer to Him; I’m reminded of His love. Failures? There are plenty it’s what life is about. In my alone time with Our Heavenly Father; He wipes away all doubt. Pain? Absolutely; we each have our own. In my time with Our Heavenly Father, I’m reminded I’m no longer alone. Grief? No one is immune to this; in my time alone with God, He tells me He has a purpose for this. Trials? Indeed we have our fair share. In my time alone with God; I’m reminded He’s still there. Blessing? Each day we awake is another chance we get. In my time alone with God; I’m reminder to be thankful for The Father, The Son, and The Holy Spirit. In my time alone with God I’m reminded there’s beauty in the pain; since finding God, my life has never been the same!

Very nicely written with internal rhyme and very good flow. Very nicely done

    Good write GS.
Sometimes I miss the rhymes in prose layouts. But my skills don't extend as far as writing hymn-poems that rhyme mid-line AND end of line.

Sharon, my dear friend, this is heartfelt and steady from beginning to end. The repetition of β€œIn my time alone with God” gives it a grounding rhythm…like a refrain you return to when life feels heavy. It reads as testimony, not theory. That sincerity carries it. πŸŒΉπŸ–€πŸ™πŸ•―οΈπŸ¦β€β¬›
