the tao

Vipassana

the small white airplane
flying in  circles
in the cloudy blue
sky waiting to land

and below the black dog
in the red car looking
out the window barking
at nothing in particular

and across the street
the banker in a gray suit
scurries preoccupied by
a problem at the office

and in the apartment
above there is only an
awareness sitting on an
empty chair—breathing

It is in absence that everything resides. White is the absence of color and in the color of light it contains all colors, in circles is perfection the never ending, And on it goes line by line until the end where the empty chair displays that in the emptiness all things reside it is the space within the vessel that contains its utility. Nicely written

such eloquence! thank you for writing such a beautiful comment.

yes, all things come from emptiness (awareness) and all things return to emptiness. mindfulness meditation informs/affects every aspect of my life & being.
