To all those who love and who are loved...
A misty night… and far beyond the height
Of silver clouds, the dawn begins to glow.
Escaping fate, in shadows of the night,
A strange bouquet of verse begins to grow.
Of silver clouds, the dawn begins to glow.
Escaping fate, in shadows of the night,
A strange bouquet of verse begins to grow.
When deep within the mind’s secluded hall,
The thought of kindred souls begins to rise,
We shed the weight of grief, the bitter gall,
As love’s triumphant anthem fills the skies.
The thought of kindred souls begins to rise,
We shed the weight of grief, the bitter gall,
As love’s triumphant anthem fills the skies.
Let grace of pensive images, so grand,
Grant immortality to feelings true;
Though naive or fleeting, let them stand,
To let the essence of the soul shine through.
Grant immortality to feelings true;
Though naive or fleeting, let them stand,
To let the essence of the soul shine through.
What’s born in words from love’s most sacred fire,
Like fragments of a supernova’s grace,
Reflects the longing and the heart’s desire,
As in a mirror, I behold your face.
Like fragments of a supernova’s grace,
Reflects the longing and the heart’s desire,
As in a mirror, I behold your face.
The cold and stormy night has met its end,
The dawn has chased the gloom and fears away.
Warmed by our love, on which we can depend,
We are together. Love has won the day.
The dawn has chased the gloom and fears away.
Warmed by our love, on which we can depend,
We are together. Love has won the day.

A love poem of union that warms the soul. Nicely written in rhyme. Well done
