Where are my words ?
As the night falls
Deaths final breaths
No longer the dawn
Life whispers farewell
Moments echo in time
The veil it is tighter
Fragments collide.
Where are my words ?
That kept me sane
When life in its cruelty
Tortured my brain
When the injustice
In ribbons fell like rain
I picked up a pen
Yes it kept me sane.
Now in hindsight
Mere mortal to leave
Upon waves of darkness
As if in a dream
Guide me along
A path well tread
No longer the dawn
Mortality is dead.
