Lonely Star

RSM0812

With blinded eyes and deafened ears,

The truth of every word it nears,

The lies were told and told in vain,

As truth is gone yet some remains.

Still the waters flow in time,

Bringing down the sky in prime.

And reap the stars for all their might,

No longer high within our site.

For lights they are and soon will fall,

Upon the earth, their brilliance all.

To light the darkest path to take,

Where love and beauty are both at stake,

And death and pain is all but gone,

As the birds they hum their gentle song.

For those who hear the music grand,

Stilled upon the broken land,

Of streams and rivers, oceans, seas.

Of mountains, deserts, and the trees.

The long forgotten nights reprieve.

Bring me sorrow in a bowl,

To eat until my conscious full.

And bring the tears of lost regrets.

As whispers steer the hearts that bless.

For infinite and eternal love,

Will dance quietly now whereof

Where once a dazzling lit up night,

Now is darker then the blackest sight

For if we want the suns to shine

Grab the flames from deepness high

And gaze to heaven without reply

Then all the stars have all but vanished

With one star left to take advantage

Twas this the star that gives its warmth

And wilts its light upon the hearth

Of desert, oceans and life in hand.

My dazzling star a grain of sand.

You once had billions of your kind to float,

And share your fire, as you smote,

Now just one left of all your kind,

To light the darkness here behind,

Our shadows kept, our shadows lurk,

For if you die the black will flirt.

And give mankind a storm of mind,

And burn you and your very worth,

Until your dim and all are blind.

Because in the dark the fear will creep

And nothing of your will you’ll keep.

Once the dark wins the day,

Neither animal nor the children play,

Cast in night forever be,

The world in all its fervency.

You’re the last,. Of your kind

Falling burning out your light.

Yet still with all of natures crime,

I say goodbye, I say farewell.

The sky is now as black as hell.

impossible mission to clearly decipher as what appeared as amorphous, yet in a way that worded chaos perhaps analogous to how the universe came into once, twice, thrice...but even if way off the mark regarding my interpretation, i did relish rhyming pattern and lengthy mental exercise though as iterated above the vagueness possibly metaphorical for just the random entropy within which the cosmos thrives.

Thanks for reading and commenting. I enjoyed your reading your scholastic interpretation. Quite well put.
