~Queen of the night~

Nyra M

A silver disc in velvet skies,

The moon is here, where darkness lies

A gentle glow,a pearly sheen,

A silent watch,a cosmic queen.

A crescent smile,a silver bright

Then fullnest bathed in silver light.

A cycle turning,ever true

The moon’s soft magic,shining throught.

For lovers lost a tender tear,

For lonely souls a comfort near,

A timeless beauty far above

The moon’s embrace a gentle love.

A silver myth,from ancient times

A glowing queen when the sun hides

A majestic ball that glows the night

Having it’s own pearly light.

The oceans bow, the winds obey,
She pulls the tides in lunar sway.
Her whispered glow on waters wide
Leaves trails of pearls upon the tide.

Yet, as the dawn begins to rise,

A golden sun paints waking skies.

She bows and fades, but do not weep,

The queen returns when mortals sleep.

She rises draped in silver light,
A sovereign born of silent night.
With starry crown and gentle gleam,
She watches over earth’s deep dream.

But fear not, for when dusk takes flight,
She’ll reign again—the queen of night.
