WITHOUT A FATHER
Imagine a house
Without a roof
That doesn’t leak.
That’s what life is like
Without a father.
A house
Where the roof
Is always missing.

For me it was a house without flooring...but thankfully I had gentlemen in my life that taught me how to be a man, and that's where my carpeting began. Great poem
Thank you very much for your beautiful comment!
This poem stretches the mind forcing it to go to sunshine and fair weather but also how a hose without a roof does not leak. It seems exposed for good and bad and somehow insecure. Nicely composed
