NIGHT TRAIN TO HEART

Sandip Bohara Chhetri

She looked at me,just enough to make the moment stretch,

Let her eyes drift, teasing me silently.

Her coat fell straight and soft along her body,

Catching the last light of evening, making time pause.

I saw her at the station, standing quietly,as if waiting for someone who might never show up .

She chose a seat across from me,deliberately leaving distance,

Making every glance a secret we shared .

Every movement spoke a language I understood ,

Not loud, not spoken, but magnetic and sure.

She draws attention  effortlessly, quiet and intoxicating.

The lights softened her curves, shadows lending intimacy,

She rose ,smoothing her coat with calm control,

A small, intimate smile touched her lips as she stepped away.

Leaving the carriage impossibly warmer, charged with her presence.

The doors closed, leaving my  pulse behind like music,

Seductive,unfinished,my heartbeats leaves with her.
