the world is heavy with silence
but your laughter softens sharp edges
be kind enough to repair yourself
fall in love with the small things
a berry staining your fingertips red
the sun slipping behind quiet hills
someone’s eyes catching yours briefly
listening for the sound of living
have a sense of humour always
it will carry you through storms
even when tears threaten to swallow
you can still taste joy—sweet—like strawberries
the seeds of love grow in patience
planted by hands full of tenderness
you are a garden—wild and blooming
watered by kindness and good humour

And we are all thirsty Gray for that kindness and good humor for laughter and a feeling of being wanted, cared about and loved. Very nicely written my friend
