Tune: Aurelia
('The church's one foundation')
Psalm 147 v.1-9
*********
Praise you the Lord, it is good
We have a will, we would
Sing praises to our God for
It is pleasant, 'tis sure
The Lord does build up, makes strong
His people, this our song
He gathers the outcasts, cares
For them, compassion shares
He heals the broken in heart
Does not from them depart
He binds up their wounds, sorrows
And so each healing knows
He tells the number of stars
Counts them, they scattered far
And by their names He them calls
Known to Him one and all
Great is our God, and of great
Power, royal estate
His understanding it be
Infinite, lastingly
The Lord He lifts up he meek
The humble they Him seek
Casts wicked down to the ground
But the righteous abound
Sing to the Lord, thanksgiving
And praises to Him bring
Sing to Him with instruments
With harmony, good sense
He covers heavens with clouds
Rain clouds the skies enshroud
He feeds all, man, fish, beasts, birds
He faithful to His words

This Orchi is a hymn of support gained from above a hymn of trust and acknowledgement of God as a protector. Well written my friend
Great hymn-poem, my friend. Trust in God is vital. Trust in the cessation of glugging...tomfoolery. Which do we choose...which do we choose! LOL! 😂
