THE FIRST KISS

Sami Mulaj

THE FIRST KISS

Forgotten by lovers on the shore,

Tides and waves toss it with their horns,

White foam takes selfies with it,

Songbirds on the rail chirp unwittingly,

Sinking it into the blue.

Morning rays find it

On the calm waves,

Like a seagull,

Oh, how sweet it was!
