Tune: St Denio
('Immortal, invisible, God only wise')
Psalm 95 v.1-7
********
O come, let us sing unto the Lord, proclaim
Him, make a joyful noise and confess His name
For He is the rock of our salvation sure
Ruling and reigning on high for evermore
Let us come before His presence and thanks give
Make a joyful noise to Him with psalms, He lives
For ever, eternal, the Lord God, He great
A great King above all gods, royal estate
In His hands are the deep places of the earth
The strength of the hills is His also, His worth
We give Him, the sea is His, He made them all
And His hands formed the dry land, obeyed His call
O come let us worship here, come and bow down
Let us kneel before the Lord, He of renown
He our maker and our God, we the people
Of His pasture, under His care, shall not fall

Thank you for always looking in SB, though I myself sometimes don\'t know quite what to comment on some poems, other than my brief summary of support - good/fine write, etc. This could it as 6.5. 6.5.\'s as set out in the video, instead of 11\'s.
Orchi don't worry about the comments it is enough to know you read it. Your support is something i value most highly. I too at times don't know what to comment on certain hymns for their stories are very familiar to me having once been a missionary. You are most welcome my friend
Thank you SB.
Orchi, thereβs something about Psalm settings that always brings me back to communal worship. This reads like it belongs in voices together, not alone. βWe the people / Of His pastureβ feels pastoral and reassuring. It carries comfort...in much the same way that P and Co carry glugs across a...don't answer that! π€£ πΉπ€ππ―οΈπ¦ββ¬
Thank you T. Doh! He just had to get in, however obscurely! heehee.
Of course! Obscurity is a gluggers best friend! LOL!
You aren't singing there are you orchi? God's probably terrified...!ππ
Thank you D. I am so-called singing! lol.
Beautifully written. Your poem is a call to worship and praise God, celebrating His greatness, sovereignty, and the relationship between the divine and humanity. It emphasizes the importance of coming together to acknowledge God's power and providence.
Thank you F.
Beautiful.
