Thread of connection

Nicole Pritchard

Distance stretches, threads unwind
Friends drift, paths diverge in time
Yet in silence, a spark remains
A text, a call, and love sustains

Friends may come and go, but best friends stay
Distance may stretch, but love doesn't fade away
They've seen your highs, your lows, your everything
No judgment in their eyes, just understanding

Tears and laughter, echoes near
Memories linger, hearts still clear
A simple message, a phone's ring
And like magic, they're there, like they never left

A bond that's unbroken, distance can't sever
A magical thread connects us, now and forever
I'm grateful for those special ones, too
Best friends who stay, no matter where life goes
