The journey of the plant

marissa

I fixate on my words.

Clueing what to write about.

Hydrating my thoughts.

I wonder what’s to say right now.

My thoughts they flourish only when they are being watered.

So don’t blame the plant for being transported, later distorted.

If the water is godly known to be unclean, and recycled.

Then how can a plant grow, into something that is not resentful.

Like thoughts, plants also must be routinely fed.

Unless you want a worm to blindly climb inside your head.

Now,here is where i change.

I must depart to better soil.

Some land of the unknown- where plants can flourish, never spoil.

Frankly i will miss it.

But i know better than to live in desolation.

I know in time and nourishment,i will live in high vibration.

Nicely written. Your poem explores the growth and nourishment of thoughts and ideas through the metaphor of a plant's journey. The central idea revolves around the necessity of proper care—whether it be through water (inspiration) or soil (environment)—for both plants and thoughts to thrive. It emphasizes the importance of seeking better conditions for growth and the inevitability of change when one is in a stifling or detrimental environment.

A plant has its needs as do we and thrives by a balanced amount of what it needs. Nicely written

Marissa, this feels like a turning point on paper/screen…raw, reflective, and determined. The metaphor carries the emotion clearly without overcomplicating it. And that final line, “I know in time and nourishment, i will live in high vibration.”, feels hopeful and earned. Wonderful job, my friend. 🌹🖤🙏🕯️🐦‍⬛
