Reflection by Fyodor Glinca

Ksey_Gan

Earthly happiness was given to me, alas,

But vainly fierily I did not accept it.

My feelings yearned for something else,

I sought a new another happiness!

Have I found it?—my lips are silent here…

My boat is still on its way blowing,

Fog and waves are still all around mere,

And what will happen?—I don't know!

A powerful poem of one's own heart. Your poem reflects on their past experiences with happiness, acknowledging that they were given earthly joys but did not embrace them fully. Instead, they yearn for something more profound, indicating a sense of existential longing and uncertainty about the future.
