To my Older Brother
Two years
It's been two years
I seen you after the party
But I feel like we're drifting apart
Are we? or it is just me? I don't wanna fall apart
I told your friend about how I feel
I feel better getting that off my chest
I think she told you
I feel bad for not telling you straight up
But i'm grateful she told you
I'm grateful your making the effort
Thank you for trying even when I call you names
Thank you for trying even when I flip you off when dad isn't looking
Thank you for trying even when I hit you playfully
Thank you for staying even with all your problems
Thank you Tucker

A poem of gratitude to a brother where so many sibling things are shared. It is cute and has a loving tone to it. Well done
Thank you
You are most welcome
Nicely done, I know this feeling. I have five older brothers. The poet writes to convey their mixed emotions—uncertainty about their relationship and gratitude for the other person's patience. The act of writing serves as an outlet for their feelings and a means to bridge the gap that they sense.
Thank you so much
A beautiful letter. People that we can talk to and artistic outlets are so important.
