The great pregnant woman gives birth to spring again
Under the ice and powder snow
Spring flowers sprouted in secret chambers
Flowers were born without a cesarean section
And without an episiotomy
In the lightness of natural currents
And while silence spreads the flowers
Human children are also born
To sing a hymn to life with their first scream

- Comment from author about the poem: This poem is based on the parallel between the birth of spring and the birth of children. The earth is personified in the image of a great pregnant woman. And the silent flowers as her children and the human children with their voices, both celebrate life.

Superb poem written excellently,
The thinking is made brilliantly,
All the best to write more and more,
May wit and wisdom we all score !
Thank you for the encouraging comment. I wish you happy verses and a lovely spring.
Nicely done bringing in natures changes in seasons and new life.
Yes, in nature we find many comparisons with human life. Thank you very much!
You are most welcome Durdica
Gosh - if child birth is so easy and beautiful, I think I might have a go!😊
It's not easy, but it's just as beautiful. It's worth trying. 🙂
😂Look after ourself - take care. 😊
A fine Poem and Parallel. Can't wait for Spring.
Thanks a lot for your comment. It's already spring here in Germany after very cold winter.
I really like the comparison of nature regenerating with birth of new life, and the fact the planet is portrayed as a woman, which makes sense. Enjoyed the read
