The Choice
Prescience an Angel
that rides on the storm
To bring us good tidings
or danger to warn
Spreading its wings
that determine our fate
The choice to jump on
— better early than late
(Dreamsleep: February, 2026)
Time Unwound
Looking ahead
today is ignored
Tomorrow unpromised
this moment secure
All joy in returning
where riches surround
To presence surrendered
— where time is unwound
(The New Room: February, 2026)
Now & Forever
I married
character
You married
cheese
I vowed
for life
Your words
to tease
I married
beauty
You married
lust
I am
still married
Yours
— is a bust

Another great set of poems Kurt and today I was most taken by the last one Now and Forever, not only clever in title and wording but deeply psychological and highly poignant and applicable to today.
Thanks Soren. I have several good friends who have CHOKED on their cheese.
You are most welcome Kurt and that is understandable
Kurt, this triptych has range…philosophical, reflective, then sharply personal. “The Choice” feels prophetic, “Time Unwound” contemplative, and “Now & Forever” bites with wit. That final “Yours / — is a bust” lands clean and unapologetic. Well done, my friend. Happy Thursday to you. 🌹🖤🙏🕯️🐦⬛
And again, Many Thanks.
