On the cusp of recognition

Reckless premature ejaculation
concerning experiencing renown
worth more than fine spun gold
to upturn me frown upside down.

While countless ambitious
young potential authors
unexpectedly rocket to fame and fortune
and touted as second to none
hashtagged as superlatively gifted
yours truly plods along
incorporating within his writing
a lifetime of wit
with an occasional
appropriate and clever pun
ever since hashtagged as a logophile,
where words utilized
to entertain and stun

with inventiveness
and just maybe prize money to be won,
but awarded unspecified
number of dollars to Dunkin Donuts
not his initial motive,
but more so his passion
to coax, albeit gently massage
a sentiment from
the unbeknownst reader
a natural unforced affect
(of course an expert editor
maybe witnessing an
as of yet unbeknownst namesake
touted as Bertolt Brecht
(1898–1956),
an influential German playwright,
poet, and theatre director
who revolutionized 20th-century drama
through his development
of "Epic Theatre"
with tweezer like care
delicately does correct
to help guide the author
his message and deliverance
from the dark shadows,
whose jargon tangled in and less clear
analogous with being obscured
like the setting sun
upon approach videlicet
the edge of night
analogous to the outer limits
of the twilight zone
quickly and unstoppable approaching
but a sharp practiced
non discriminating eye
can clearly discern
hidden talent possessed
by a Caucasian, latitudinarian,
nonestablishmentarian, Pennsylvanian,
sexagenarian and Unitarian guy,
whose potential for
fame and fortune well nigh

burst across the webbed,
wide and whorled sky
jostling amidst other
well established luminaries
though modesty within him
doth prohibit questioning why
now posthumously sudden
unexpected the hottest ticket to air
Variations on a Theme of Paganini
(based on Caprice No. 24)

renowned musical adaptations,
most notably Johannes Brahms’s
technically demanding piano etudes,
Op. 35 (1863), and Sergei Rachmaninoff’s
lush Rhapsody on a Theme of Paganini
for piano and orchestra (1934)

suddenly discussed among vested gentry

and seriously discussed courtesy
English professors who declare

him to be tantamount
to storied classics within literature

who when words of his interpreted,
especially when read aloud one can hear

distinct subtle nuances of hidden meanings
galloping with amazing grace
synonymous with a mare
bespeaking versatile horse sense
with I swear
his trademark beloved yet effective "Zier"

primarily a German noun
meaning ornament, decoration,
adornment, or embellishment.

Ah... at long last, he can breathe

a sigh of relief with adequate income

wherein circles bathed with light
no matter on the eve

of his existence
already he cannot heave

the approaching grim reaper by Jeeve,

yet among unsung heroes,
(a person who makes significant,
valuable contributions or performs
courageous acts but receives
little or no recognition,
praise, or fame for them)
nevertheless an influence
on the genre of poetry he doth leave.
