Girl At The Shop

Akshadha_Joshi1310

Today, I saw a girl at the shop,

She looked so ethereal,

And she made my heart drop,

Her face; so peaceful.

She wore a shirt in the colour of the sky,

One with lantern sleeves,

Her jeans were the colour of faded fortunes,

She was heavenly, I believe.

Her cascade of curls; as dark as the night,

Tied perhaps in an attempt to tame it,

Oh what a blissful sight,

She is the muse to my poet.

I tilt my head to meet her gaze,

My head would would fit perfectly under her chin,

She makes my heart go up in a blaze,

And she makes my head spin.

Her eyes were like deep pools of chocolate,

That glittered when she smiled,

I wish we could continue what merely just started,

In my tenebrous night , she is the only celestial light .

I'd like the possibility of kissing her someday,

But she was just a stranger never to be seen again,

Nonetheless, I was right , I am indeed gay ,

But I'm not going to be the one to complain.

  • Comment from author about the poem: And then I never saw her again 😔. I don't know if this poem came out a bit cheesy but what can we do. Anyways I think I'm going insane.
