BAND OF POETS

nephilim56 ( Norman Dickson)

When the bickering
Has stopped
The drink
Has ceased to flow
Each with
Their thoughts
In a vacuum
To show.

The marbled halls
Of castles peering
Into eyes
From balconies leaning
To distant wonders
Of glittering  halls
The windows lattice
Now to call.

A heartbeat paused
A lonely night
Tears from a past
That tries with might
To relocate
Its flaming glow
We band of poets
Each to know.

I enjoyed this write, the band of poets assembling to try and work out the mystery of life and poetry. A class of education that will never end, pleasure to read
