When the bickering
Has stopped
The drink
Has ceased to flow
Each with
Their thoughts
In a vacuum
To show.
The marbled halls
Of castles peering
Into eyes
From balconies leaning
To distant wonders
Of glittering halls
The windows lattice
Now to call.
A heartbeat paused
A lonely night
Tears from a past
That tries with might
To relocate
Its flaming glow
We band of poets
Each to know.
