Blinded

Blinded

I could say a million things about life here right now.

As it spills out in tears for crying out loud.

Denying my fears of my life as a whole.

And I fall down this hole down into my soul.

Mold will grow upon my surface and swallow me whole.

As I sit an unwind in my tears of cold.

As I think and decline all my fears as I fold.

Upon the surface of the sofa I am safe for now

Safe for now.

I'm safe for now, yes I'm safe for now.

No matter how much i scream so loud

No matter how hard I hit and pound.

No matter how fast I run around.

No matter how calm I sit and sound.

No matter.

It's alright.

Sitting under the moons reflected white light.

Reflect in my mind. As I sit rewind.

My tears of cold turn to gold in the night.

My fears burn up in the sky so bright.

It impacts the ground far out of sight.

And it glistens in the light of the moons mighty might.

As it shimmers in the shine of the shimmering lunar light.

And I fight

And I fight

To survive

To survive

Through the night

Through this light

As it pierces my soul

As I cry

As I cry

I will die in this light

For now I seek the shadows.

For I'm taught to love the light,

Even when the light burns my eyes.

Even when the sky sears my sight.

Even when so much dark can touch my fears in the night.

Even if I fear the light.

For the light is not me.

And I am me, and I'm not bright.

Light isn't always purpose.

For you will see that you are right.

The light can have that effect on people.
