A tree softly stands

Caring dove

Notice of absence from Caring dove
Your affecting how I feel you should probably try getting help

A tree softly stands

feet connected

arms open to the singing spring sky

little leaves lightly being with those branches that are soft steady and strong

below the blue sky

that’s living like a calm ocean

without the waves saying a hello

A fine write D. There's tall, strong, older trees too, we know.

Caring Dove, this feels peaceful from the first line…unrushed and gentle. The image of the tree with arms open carries quiet welcome. It settles into stillness by the end. “without the waves saying a hello” leaves it calm and contemplative. Powerful poem. 🌹🖤🙏🕯️🐦‍⬛

The welcoming of nature expressed in this poem. Nicely written
