Survivors Guilt

BoxMyHeart

Sick of surviving

I wana feel like im truly living

not some zombie dispositioned

go to work, pay your tax

if you dont make the cut, you get axed

Sign your life on the poverty line,

dont worry you'll be just fine (you won't)

they'll tell you smile, then knife you in your back

because; money, power and sex scandals sell

every one of us decent people can go to hell

and if you dont like it, we will frame you

prosecutors that blatantly hate you

they're all part of the corruption,

but how do we climb out of this disruption?

if we stay silent, they'll only win

when we should have justice, let justice reign

Honey i'm a libra, addicted to balance

loyalty and honestly, truth,

I'm finding it hard to navigate my way through discourse

Maybe, I have to switch off, other people don’t have that luxury

flashing past visions become my waking nightmares

flares of hope appear, somehow, somewhere, here

I’m feeling the pain of the people,

I stand with the people, defend these people

against disgusting perpetrators and all their accomplices...
