I've seen them speak out then die in suspicious circumstances,
Commended them for their bravery but what are the chances?
The whistle blower wonders alone where most would stray,
Revealing secrets of societies true and utter decay,
You'd never find facts on the BBC or TMZ anyway,
Another one found dead in a hotel room, shake my head in dismay.

Good write SM.
Thanks mate.
There are risks when you upset existing power structures and the risks seem directly proportional to the amount of power and money involved. Nicely written
Indeed, sab but true.
Full whistleblower protection? Doubt it.
I doubt too sadly.
The truth always comes at a cost, and for some it can be the ultimate price to pay. A sad reflection of our times, well penned.
Thanks pal.
You are very welcome
