Connect, & Worry Not

BoxMyHeart

I do not concern myself worrying about the lack time, or things I cannot control.

I am merely actively participating in the shared human experience of life.

In which I aim to create and indulge in delightful, joyful ventures.

Especially in the face of fleeting moments which sneak through the textured, silk-like-fabric of life.

I do not cry unnecessarily, so why must I worry incessantly.

Anxiety can hold us hostage, to which I have in the past been accustomed.

Live and love freely, laugh wholeheartedly and cherish the crestfallen spaces in between.

For these too bind us closer to each other in divine connection.

  • Comment from author about the poem: A thoughtful, whimsical, daring challenge to overturn the overwhelming narrative I have told myself for the longest time. Today and for days ahead I wish to re-write that narrative, in a beautiful new perspective.
