When spring is here
When spring is here
Let our last hug bleed no fear.
When springtime comes,
And within us sprouts new growth,
My heart, for you still thrums-
Between us stays an oath.
Distance makes the spirit fonder,
As you spread your wings to fly;
No need for doubt to pull us under,
Underneath a different sky.
A bond to last a lifetime,
Bound by more than just the weather;
If you remember but one rhyme:
“Northern memories last forever.”
