Death of Roses

RSM0812

A rose so red, oh rose so pure, your petals bloom your beauty lures

As if a flower of repose, my love for you eternal.

Lie down upon the dewy ground and float to heaven there abound.

As if so yonder of display, I love u even every day.

In life, in death, and time of rest.

Oh, rose don’t wither, purely stay.

Here the image may well be a rose or a metaphor for love itself. Nicely framed in good meter and rhyme it is a fave
