Love: Her Curse
Tall, handsome he stood,
Pretending to be good—
That’s what she thought.
The two wandering eyes caught,
In the darkest of the hour,
Something she thought was sour
Turned out sweet again.
Glad she met and greeted,
The spark in the eyes,
Like the sunrise—
All bliss and joyous the moment was.
He was engraved in her mind,
Imagining scenarios of all kinds.
Running from the love,
Like a dove trapped in marshy land.
The feelings she wanted to hide,
With the flinch of time,
The music of chime,
In the taste of wine.
The balloon of emotions burst out,
The silent cries were now loud.
Hearing the emotions,
He was on the top of the cloud.
Having her whole, elated he was.
Poor she again fell for the foul.
The heart she grew fond of
Was never hers.
Being in love,
And getting none—
Was her curse.
