When you seek change in any aspect of life; you must understand that it won’t happen overnight. Some things take time; healing can’t be rushed. We learn to lean closer to Him so as to feel His Heavenly touch. Nothing is easy when being guided by God. Sometimes we fall backwards; as this walk is quite hard. His word never promised an easy path. In fact He warns of trials and dismay. You must realize your own part for you can not control another. He only asks that we remember we’re all sisters and brothers. This itself does not mean to tolerate mistreatment or abuse of any kind. There’s many verses in the living word; inside the book of life. We need only seek and the truth we shall find. Even a poet like me is far from perfect. Yet His word tells me He will never leave nor forsake; He loves because we are worth it. He doesn’t exclude a soul; He gives free will; He allows mistakes so you may grow. He doesn’t ask that we believe everything we hear; He tells us to stand firm in faith; even while we fear. So this life with God is not one that will bring change overnight; Everything that must happen, will happen in His time.

Sharon, this feels like a gentle encouragement to keep walking even when the road is difficult… acknowledging both faith and the reality of struggle.
