While I Love You

Kora

I want to live
In the dimple
On your cheek.
Snuggled in,
Cosy, warm,
Humming 'Moonriver'
While I love you.

I want to fall
Into the colour
Of your eyes,
Letting them carry me
On expressions, like tides,
Joyfully drowning,
While I love you.

I want to shelter
Under your hands,
Strong, careful,
Holding me as though
I were the fragile petals
Of a wildflower,
While I love you.

I want to waste
All our time,
Dancing in the kitchen,
Blowing kisses
At the moon,
Feeling your heart
Pressed against mine,

Living,
Living,
Living,
Every second,
Every minute,
Every hour,
Every lifetime,

While I love you.
