Not always moving foward
Sometimes running back
Falling in to perilous pits
The way the life hits
Brings back the pain
Sometimes my own skin
Reminds me how alive I've been
Floating on a broken raft
Barely able to swim
The right time to drown
Hearing my own shout
Screaming into the abyss
With no one around
I feel the pain anyways
Sometimes the best part of being alive
Is when it's my turn to die
I will leave this place
Without any doubts
Or anything left behind
Without anyone else by my side
I peer into darkness
Feeling little warmth
Such a selfish suicide
Completely unjust
Hanging lifeless by a truss
This world eats you alive
Spit out the remnants
When its your turn to go
It will come as no surprise
To anyone or anything
So just forget the day
It was never alright
They never really cared
Wearing just a mask
Those who claimed to have loved
We were all in doubt
Left me here alone before
We all tried so hard
Nothing gained nothing lost
This world is not our own
We do not belong anywhere

A dark view presented in this poem of life, love and the world. It cries to be heard. Well written
Thanks for your read, much appreciated. I would like to acknowledge the pointed out dark view of this poem and say that it definitely was a hard day today so I wrote this poem to try and get some out that out so I can chill
