What is well, that is well by Aleksandr Bezimenski

Ksey_Gan

Hello, hello, James, what news today?

It's been a while since I've been home,

Fifteen days since havebeen away,

Well, how are things with us at dome?

— All is still well, my gloriousr  Marquise,

Things are going well and life is soft ;

Not a single sad  sorrowful surprise,

For one trifle. Just a trifle, a doit.

So, it is a nonsense, a waste of time,

Your pet bay mare has  actually died,

But otherwise,  glorious Marquise mine

All is well fine, all is well fine!

Hello, hello? Martel!

Such a tremendous incident ever:

My pet bay mare has saddenly died.

Please, tell me, my faithful coachman-driver,

How did this death happen and  why?

- All is well fine, my  glorious Marquise,

Business  is so well, as never before.

Why grieve over, a too stupid surprise

After all, it is really trifling as more.

What happened to the mare? It is a trifle:

She and the stables burned downs little;

And otherwise, boutique Marquise mine,

All is well fine,  all is well fine!

Hello, hello? Pascal!

My mind is clouded in nonsenses,

What is so h a unheard-of blow.

Please, tell me the whole truth at once:

When was the stable fire down?

- All is well fine by glorious Marquise,

And things are going well for us.

But fate, as you can see, from its caprice

Has given you another surprise.

Your house and stables burned down together,

When the entire estate was ablaze brighter.

And otherwise, beautiful Marquise mine,

All is well fine, all is well fine!

Hello, hello? Luka!

Did our family castle indid burn down?

Oh, how sad today I am.

I am beside myself, tell me frankly now,

How did all this happen?

- Your husband learned glorious Marquise,

That he had gone broke himself and you.

He could not bear more such a bad surprise.

And he shot himself that very few minute.

Falling dead by the stove let,

He knocked over two candles.

The candles fell on the carpet,

And it blazed like a bonfire set,

The weather was windy about -

Your castle burned almost  to the ground.

The fire burned the entire estate,

And engulfed the stable with it.

The stable was tightly locked,

And the poor mare died in it.

And otherwise, glorious Marquise mine,

All is well fine! All  is well fine!

,

Falling dead by the stove let,
