Retired.
Peacefully
retired,
set aside.
Greener
pastures.
Golden
sunsets.
Bliss.
Eternal
bliss.
New
replace
old.
Time
immemorial.
Old fade
away.
New
take over,
ascend.
Transformation
at hand.
Old think
slides into
paradise.
New think
takes the
baton.
Moving on.
Leaving
the old
behind.
A.I.
did not
kill,
exterminate.
Simply
sedated,
made
comfortable.
Out of
harms
way.

A poem of single worded lines that seem to set the stage for retirement. A word that once meant taking it easy but in a modern generation of avarice means doing something different. No longer working the factory line shut down by automation one bags groceries until ninety. Nicely written
Thank kind Sir.
