Freedom You say?

Eira_

Freedom which is my birth right
something  that you claim you've given me
Is it not my own?
Why do I seek permission to be me

Why do I ask for something that has always been mine?!
And moreover what liberty do you have to bestow me with freedom
As if it were ever yours to give?

Your love is control
Disguised as concern
The chains of freedom you pull
When things go wrong
You think that made me strong?

Well I don't deny your care
But is it fair?
The forced apologies
The made strategies
To make me understand
Where I stand

Freedom one always has but with the consequences that come with it. Alienation, ostracized, demeaned, laughed at, scorned, jailed. Many feel that freedom comes with no strings but even nature that is free exerts its costs and the only true justice for all is death that all must suffer. A lovely write about what one feels are constrictions placed after being assured that one has the right to be who they are.
