Time fades like ink in rain—
names blur, faces soften,
yet the ache stays sharp,
a quiet, stubborn stain.

A beautiful poem William we write our pages and with time they blur and may become illegible but the stain remains. In the same way our errors may become blurs but the stain remains. This metaphor works for many instances of life. Well written my friend
