I Will Press to Your Hand Soft and Kind

cellinic

I will press to your hand, soft and kind,
Shedding darkness and grief of the ages…
So recalling the sunset we find,
Safe from shadows and memory's cages.
And dissolving in lingering haze,
Where the whispered nirvana will gleam,
To remind of those tremulous days
And the source of our unspoken dream.
Let the hours so ruthless and cold,
That will keep us apart 'til the light,
By the storms of the summer be told
To unite us in rhythmical flight.
And we'll wake when the joy is reborn,
Bringing back every truth we once knew,
Keeping vows that we’ve soulfully sworn
Of the love that is sacred and true.

A most beautiful write that is hopeful and faithful to dreams and love. Well rhymed and with such good meter and flow it speaks to me. A fave

My friend, this reads like a meditation on love that persists through distance and time. The sense of remembering shared moments while waiting for reunion feels very human. Those quiet promises carried across the years are rendered beautifully here. Well done, my friend. 🌹🖤🙏🕯️🐦‍⬛
