Life lessons From The Track

Kurt Philip Behm

Anyone

can go fast

in the straights

Winners

go fast

— in the turns

(2)

Real racers

race

Everyone else

— just talks

(3)

At the sight

of blood

Your foot

— goes to the floor

(4)

The last lap

may have been finished

But the race

— is never over

(5)

Pit stops ...

the key

to victory

— or defeat

(6)

Trophies

are for cases

Speed

— is for life

(7)

When nothing

is working

— go faster

Each one a gem. So true in any race action speaks louder than words, it is in the turns that one shows ones strength, measure and time your energy, Those that show off have little to show and when the going gets tough the tough get going. A wonderful write my friend

Kurt, this has real racing energy in it… short lines that hit like bursts of acceleration. The whole piece reads like track wisdom learned the hard way. Loved it, my friend. πŸŒΉπŸ–€πŸ™πŸ•―οΈπŸ¦β€β¬›
