Whatever Works

Tristan Robert Lange

Notice of absence from Tristan Robert Lange
Friends, I’m doing my best to keep up with comments. 😅 I’m still current on my own poems and first replies on others’ work, but this season has been a bit of a twister. Figured I’d drop a quick note so you don’t think I’ve vanished or gone flaky.
Read. Write. Rise. Realize. 🤘💀🖤
Deliverance comes
In different ways
Than demonic deliverers
Would have one believe.

The key,
One the distributors of damnation—
Guising as God’s governing gatekeepers—
Don’t want you to learn:

Name those demons—
Deny them no more—
Give them what they want:

Your attention.

Well, now they’ve got it—
So skull stomp those bastards.

Whatever gets you there—
Whatever works—
Do it.

A strong message that meets them head on with the violence of swatting flies. Powerful and unambiguous it meets force with force. I hear the anger in this piece Tristan

Soren, thank you for this, my friend…the anger you hear is very real. This piece comes out of wrestling with things that gain power by staying hidden or unspoken. Naming them shifts the whole balance, yet we're taught to believe that we're powerless. I’m grateful you felt the raw edge of that struggle in the poem. ⚔️🔥⛓️🙏

        You are most welcome Tristan

I'm gonna swat some flies then, as SB says.
Now tell us, Popeye, if we put it as a question: 'What works for you?!' But, erm, don't answer that! lol.

🤐😝😖😓😶I hate when I zip it and then burst out laughing! So painful 🤣 Thanks Orchi… 🪰 needed the place rid of 🪰 them. They moved in ever 🪰 since being 🪰 exorcised…um…evicted from Ammityville. 🪰

Ohhh, we can't keep up with the antics of P & Co. We would need 23h 59m of each day to keep up to date - erm, the same amount of time they spend on ......... ahh, don't finish that! A cryptic ending, if we did finish that, would be: 'knitting!' We know. lol.
