Hah!-Kuin
Jumped in
To the midst
Of our Idle Talk on a Night Boat
Clutching an Elven rope
He roared
"Between one who is ruled
By the passions
And one who isn`t
What`s the difference?"

Clever write~
Thanks a million, Katie!
Mutley, what a scene...almost like it's out of some strange midnight parable…a sudden arrival, an odd image with the rope, and then that blunt question dropped into the middle of it all. The moment feels both humorous and philosophical at the same time. It’s brief but it lingers. Nicely crafted, my friend. 🌹🖤🙏🕯️🐦⬛
Thanks a million, Tristan. The flow in this rhyme still needs work...
You are most welcome, Mutley. 😊
Most fanciful and I would not know the difference. great rhyme and write
I owe it all to Hakuin
And Tolkien!
Thanks a million, Soren.
You are most welcome
An interesting write. Passionate people are more high energy and maybe a bit controlling. Where unpassionate people may sometimes just ride the wave they are on.
Thanks for dropping by. Riding the wave without losing your balance or being drowned by it is the way to go, I guess?!
