Kurt Philip Behm

Standing apart

from truth

Life came

into focus

Its burden

had lifted

Detached

— I was free

(Dreamsleep: March, 2026)

Oh Juliet

Life

for the living

Time

for the dead

Prescience

betrothing

Knowledge

— unwed

(The New Room: March, 2026)

I don't know how many will fell this as I did but it spoke to me Kurt a most Buddhist feel to this. A fave

Kurt, these feel like small philosophical snapshots…clarity arriving through distance, and the weight of life lifting into a kind of freedom. The second piece adds an almost reflective echo with time, knowledge, and the tension between them. Short lines, but they leave room for the thought to breathe. Nicely done. 🌹🖤🙏🕯️🐦‍⬛
