Winters feels in a Summer Bliss

Bloomingcereus

Today I stumbled across a painting that reminds me of you

A winters feel without the snow

A summers bliss that began to glow

The smell of the freshly baked bread you always craved

The long strolls coupled with the endless talks the moon secretly listened to

As I watched the sparkle in your eyes battle the starlit nights that never dimmed

Sweetly singing memories that I can't stop listening to

Will always push me to remember every bit as to why I fell in love with you

Thinking this painting had left me speechless

Yet here I sit writing this letter

To you.

This poem brims with nostalgia and longing. It uses metaphor to set the mood and is well done
