Microcosmic Miseries

Mutley Ravishes

"My head`s on fire

With passionate desires

And my lower body leaks

Generational energy!

It`s such a drag

Having to climb back-

-wards, up and down

The immensely milky

Way`s ash tree

Lately

Nidhogg`s been asking

Why I`ve been presenting

Myself in a `backwards fashion`

He said `It`s unnerving, even for a dragon

To be listening fifty freakin

Times a day

To someone talking

Out of their backside!`

And Eagle`s been giving me

A wide

Berth

Squawking about `not being a hearse`

I can`t take it anymore

Help me, Lord!"

Mutley, I’ve had moments that feel just as chaotic internally…not quite this mythological, haha, but that sense of everything being out of alignment. The way it all builds to “Help me, Lord!”…that cry feels real beneath the humor. This one stayed with me. 🌹🖤🙏🕯️🐦‍⬛
