- Comment from author about the poem: My spirituality, rituals and practices may be tied to eclecticism. Still I only believe in one God and only one almighty… I believe in only one creator. I believe to put even a name on this creator leads to not truly understanding the might, but we are dealing with language here so it’s necessary. Still understand, my God is not human, not a statue, not an animal, not anything you can see, smell, taste or hear. Yet my God is in everything. I would like to learn about your beliefs if you’re willing to share, trust me I am not trying to start a cult and I am not a fan of them either. Still I think religion is an interesting part of society that helps people understand morals and ethics. It’s unfortunate when people use religion as a tool to hurt others though. At that point, I cannot fuck with you.

I believe in something
I know nothing
About!
Sounds like faith to me
For sure!
There is always only depending on from where one is looking a great write of belief
Do you feel like as you get older you have a stronger sense of piety?
Pious no, calm and connected to nature yes
Hmm… thanks
Demar, I appreciate you asking this directly… it invites something real. I’m a Christian… I believe in one God as expressed through the Trinity, and at the same time I believe God is bigger than human theology and not limited to my belief system. That’s the space I live in. Thank you for opening that door. 🌹🖤🙏🕯️🐦⬛
Respect for answering. There’s no point in a question if there’s no answers, as always thank you for you and your honesty. I enjoy to reflect
Indeed. Question asked, why not answer it! Most welcome, my friend. I dig the community you build and glad to consider myself a part of it! 🌹
I think of myself as a Christian but I don’t associate with a single church. I prefer to go on my own journey and explore my beliefs. Also, good to see you’re back.
It feels good to write again, especially for an audience that actually cares about poetry. Thank you for sharing. I’ve been reading the Bible a lot recently more than I ever had in my life and I think it’s really an awesome book, I can understand why Christians become and stay. I respect you for not just simply following a crowd though, it takes a lot of guts to do that. I hope you do have community to be around though. I think that’s the one I thing I’m so jealous of when it comes to institutions, they’re the most social animals.
I’m happy to hear that! The Bible truly is amazing, I enjoy picking it up and reading it. I do have a community so do not fear, though I think I would be okay if I were independent too.
