The playlist ends and the world rushes back,
filling the gaps and the silence I lack.
It’s not quite a song, and it’s not quite a roar,
just the sound of the wind through the crack in the door.
I’m catching my breath in the quiet between,
somewhere in the middle of a digital dream.
