robin song

while sitting in my garden a robin sang to me

sat there on a branch of my apple tree

his lovely robin song with a lovely melody

every note in tune every note in key

my heart began to melt as he sang his song

nearly made me cry as i sang along

when he finshed singing he flew in to the sky

tears they filled my eyes as i waved goodbye

hope he will come back and sing again for me

while sitting on the branch of my apple tree

his lovely robin song that took my breath away

in my mind forever his song will always stay
